"To receive Watsu® is to surrender to a supported float, offered with care and deep listening."
Watsu® (Water Shiatsu) is one of the most innovative wellness arts in the world — born in the 1980s from the intuition of Harold Dull, combining ancient Shiatsu principles with the therapeutic power of warm water.
Practiced in body-temperature water at approximately 34.5°C, Watsu® involves being gently held in a supported float while the practitioner guides the body through a rhythmic alternation of stillness and movement — a harmonious dance that emerges in connection with the breath.

Founded in 2000 by a group of instructors trained directly with Harold Dull, Watsu Italia has been dedicated to promoting and disseminating WATSU® — the first form of aquatic bodywork — in Italy and worldwide.
In 2023, Watsu Italia was officially recognised as a Counseling school by S.I.Co. (Italian Counseling Association) — a significant milestone in the professional standing of the WATSU® practitioner.
"Watsu Italia was among the first institutes to distinguish itself for its team-based approach, including at an international level."
— Watsu Italia, founding statement"I came in with chronic tension and left feeling as though my body had finally remembered what rest was. The practitioners here hold a truly rare quality of presence."
"The professional training programme changed the trajectory of my career. The faculty bring both technical rigour and a depth of human presence that is rare in any training."
"As a physiotherapist I was sceptical. After the workshop my partner and I reconnected in a way I hadn't thought possible through movement. Extraordinary facilitation."
